Terms of Use

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Waqti. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the App.

• You must create an account to use Waqti's features
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4.1 Subscription Service

Waqti offers a premium subscription service that provides access to advanced features including:

• Unlimited AI companion conversations
• Advanced progress tracking and analytics
• App blocking capabilities
• Personalized insights and memory features

4.2 Billing and Renewal

• Subscriptions are billed monthly through Apple's App Store
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• The cost of renewal will be the same as the original subscription price unless you are notified otherwise

4.3 Managing Your Subscription

• Subscriptions may be managed by the user
• Auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase
• No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

4.4 Refunds

Refunds are handled according to Apple's App Store refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

5.1 Your Data

• You retain all rights to the personal information and content you provide to the App
• You grant Waqti a license to use, store, and process your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service
• Your data includes: messages to the AI, relapse entries, progress data, and location information (if you grant permission)

5.2 AI Processing

• Waqti uses third-party AI services to provide personalized support
• Your conversations may be processed by OpenAI's GPT models through OpenRouter API
• We implement measures to protect your privacy during AI processing
• AI responses are for informational and support purposes only and do not constitute medical advice

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Introduce viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations while using the App

IMPORTANT: Waqti is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

• The App provides general wellness and recovery support tools
• The AI companion is not a licensed therapist, counselor, or medical professional
• Always seek the advice of qualified health providers with any questions about medical conditions
• Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in the App
• If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, call emergency services immediately

• Waqti and all of its content, features, and functionality are owned by the App developer
• The Waqti name, logo, and all related names, logos, and slogans are trademarks
• You may not use our intellectual property without prior written permission
• All content in the App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Waqti integrates with third-party services including:

• Supabase: Authentication and database services
• OpenRouter/OpenAI: AI conversation processing
• Apple Services: In-app purchases, location services, notifications

Use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason
• You may delete your account at any time through the App settings
• Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease
• Termination does not relieve you of any obligations incurred prior to termination

You have the right to delete your account at any time:

• Navigate to Settings → Account → Delete Account in the App
• Account deletion will permanently remove all your data from our servers
• This action cannot be undone
• Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through your Apple ID settings

13.1 "As Is" Basis

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

13.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WAQTI OR ITS DEVELOPERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

13.3 No Guarantee of Results

We do not guarantee that use of the App will result in overcoming addiction or achieving recovery goals. Individual results vary.

• We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time
• We will notify you of any material changes through the App or via email
• Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms
• The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised

• These Terms are governed by applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions
• Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration
• You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Waqti regarding use of the App.
